Kando Matsubara has joined Trianz as Vice President and Managing Director - Japan. He will drive the continued growth of Trianz in Japan by enhancing and expanding extending our current client relationships and developing new relationships across the firm's four Service Lines.

Matsubara-san joins the Tokyo office from Fuji Xerox, where his primary background was in sales and corporate planning and strategy. In his more than 20 years with Fuji Xerox, he worked for the Chairman's office on issues related to corporate strategy and general business development. Additionally, Matsubara-san was an early leader in developing a company-wide knowledge-management system and worked at the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center (PARC) in California.

Given his corporate experience at a highly reputed Japanese technology conglomerate and his U.S. educational and business background, Matsubara-san has extensive practical experience in working with business and technology issues in high-tech industries. Matsubara-san holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science from Keio University and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
