Santa Clara, California, Jan 31, 2007: Trianz Inc. announced the successful implementation of a cutting-edge Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) solution for California-based Silicon Image, Inc. The SOA solution leverages Oracle's Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) technology to automatically synchronize product and pricing data between Oracle Applications and Pivotal CRM.

Silicon Image, a leader in the secure distribution, presentation and storage of high-definition content for the global personal computing and consumer electronics markets, required a solution to enhance their data synchronization and manual processes between Pivotal CRM and Oracle 11i Applications.

Trianz offered a solution using the Oracle BPEL technology which significantly benefited Silicon Image by reducing manual effort, lowering data entry errors and providing greater process visibility and consistency to address Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Additionally, the solution has provided Silicon Image's sales and customer service teams with real-time access to data and information that is critical for order processing. Going forward, Silicon Image can leverage the SOA-based integration infrastructure put in place by Trianz to address future technical and business integration requirements.

Implemented in less than 50 days, the solution involved modeling the existing business process flows, developing the underlying business processes and adapting the flows to meet new business requirements. In this initial effort, nine end-to-end BPEL-PM processes were implemented covering 10 unique activities.
