What Are AFQ Connectors?
Trianz Athena Federated Query (AFQ) Connectors provide the ability to connect and query databases across on-prem and public cloud environments outside your AWS ecosystem. AFQ connectors are integrated with Athena SDK for seamless query authoring experience and implement the security best practices defined by AWS. In addition, the connectors use existing AWS identity and access management policies, data protection using cryptographic services for credential management, and integrated with CloudWatch for audit management.

Utilize the Combined Trianz and AWS AFQ Connector Library to Create Visually Interactive Reports
With a complete ecosystem of Trianz and AWS AFQ connectors, you can produce hybrid/multi-cloud analytics and visualizations without migrating or consolidating your data. The combined library of Trianz and AFQ connectors can pull data from disparate sources to run analysis, and connect to BI tools, such as Tableau, QuickSight, and Power BI to generate interactive visualizations on large data sets.
